As the narrative of my story I can attest that this topic of rape is a hard story to speak about without getting nervous. Each one of our stories are hard to speak about so going forward please don't judge why survivors don't report their assault.
Some people like to speculate what they think leads to rape but it's not what folks are wearing.
I believe that each survivor has a story and unfortunately it happens. That is why it is so imperative we speak about sexual assault awareness and how to protect ourselves. I encourage all women to take self-defense classes and to not drink any drinks that you don't see folks pour in front of you.
